So much of gratitude for the last few weeks. It's been busy and filled with travelling but there's been some amazing experiences. We are building and creating together and it's so amazing to see and be a part of.
Bitcoin Design Foundation
Daniel and Christoph are both amazing leaders and I feel very grateful to walk beside them in leading the Bitcoin Design Foundation. We had our first ever board meeting for the foundation and there was quite some prep involved before the meeting.
UX Education
Next to that have been head down organizing the first ever Bitcoin UX Bootcamp together with Femi from the Human Rights Foundation. Marcel from Bitcoin Dada has been so supportive in the process. We've had to get the website live, create application forms, push social media to get in applications. Am really excited about this as its going to be such a good opportunity to use all of the resources such as the Bitcoin Design Guide, UX Research Toolkit and Open Design Guide to educate and bring in UX designers in from all over the world.
Also hopped on a call for the Open Design Guide to review the content, its moving along really nicely and will review the open PR’s next week.
UX Research
Also headed over to Nashville to attend the Global Bitcoin Summit.
HRF organized an incredible event in Nashville bringing together builders, educators and activists. There together with Jhanissa we did a very hands on Jobs to be done workshop where we aimed to understand the needs and fears of activists. The report is in the works.
Relationship building & Speaking
Also had the pleasure of speaking about the Future of Bitcoin UX at the Bitcoin Conference in Amsterdam and got to virtually meet and speak at this event of the Bitcoin Daddas in collab with Trezor.
To each of you reading, thank you for all the work you do and for contributing your talent to growing this ecosystem.
