Wrapping up another week and it feels like the time flew by. This week has been a week of supporting the projects as well as moving some blocks forward.
A few questions I like to ask myself when arriving at the desk in the morning is:
What can I do today to move one project forward?
What can I do to move forward the other projects in the community? This might involve reviewing the PR’s from the guide and doing my best to support those by providing feedback.
How can I invite the community to collaborate on all of the above?
Was also great jumping on the Stephen Livera podcast and having a chat about the importance of UX in designing bitcoin applications. Grateful to have gone on the podcast and been given the opportunity to speak about UX design.
Next to that spent more time refining the Bitcoin Core App case study. There are so many perspectives from which this story could be told. One angle is to get into the details of the process and another is to tell a bit of a story of how important it is to the ecosystem. It’s one of the largest redesign processes since the original gui was launched. Some mega important milestones. It will enable just about anyone to run a bitcoin core node just using their mobile phone. I’m excited to see this one evolve and super happy to continue to be part of it.
Then there was a bunch of conference planning for BTC Prague in terms of discussing the programme for the day as well as deciding on the furniture.
And we had a great design review call with the Bitcoin Layers team as well.
Also spent some time reviewing the Family Inheritance pr which Michael is working on. Looking forward to seeing this one live.
Next week I will be in wrap up mode. There’s been two projects that have been floating around little bit too long. Those are the:
Open Source UX Research Playbook
Bitcoin Core App case study
✌🏼Onwards and forward.
Have a good one.
